Mayor, Council & Commissions
The Whittier City Council is scheduled to meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers located in the P-12 building.Council members are elected by the community for three-year terms, and serve the City of Whittier without compensation. The Mayor and Vice-Mayor are members of the City Council and are selected for these leadership positions by the Council for a one-year term.

Planning Commission
The Whittier Planning Commission is scheduled to meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Homeowner's Lounge on the 15th floor of the BTI building.
